The Return of the Quill

Several suns and moons have past since the quill has been picked up. The shape of the slender smooth stick feels different, as it presses against the tips of fingers. Breathing with shallow breath, allowing the mind to empty for free thoughts to form. The quill eagerly awaiting for command. And so, with a long exhale, the quill begins to move across the scroll.

The choice that was taken to leave the land of Valsharen. This was not done out of spite or being spoiled. This choice was made because there was an request made. A request which required this Fae to depart from the land of Valsharen, to 'scout' out other lands. The Dear Drow was aware of this request, made by the one known to this Fae as, White. Knowing that White would report back to the Dear Drow, this Fae knew that it was best to do what he requested.
As the feet of this Fae, made quick with fluttering of wings, to endure the traveling time it took to do what was asked, communication with the Dear Drow, was slowly beginning to lessen. It had been possible to report to her, what was not reported to White. Back and forth the communication, the ideals and feelings that were so freely expressed... came to an abrut halt!
For this Fae was consumed with exploring the lands. Experiencing the all of what could not be experience in Valsharen. The light from the radiant Sun brilliant with a warmth, enveloped this Fae like mother to child. Very unlike the dark and often penetrating cold of the Underdark.
The creatures and beings of whom all this Fae has encountered, have been more than all the lone time within Valsharen. But, amongst these new experiences, no amount of activity of meeting these new creatures and beings, could replace the few precious moments with the Dear Drows that have been deeply missed within the heart of this Fae.

Within recent time, this Fae has came upon a land, by the name of Sylvamir. This land is known to possess a jewel. This jewel is a jewel of Slyvhara. An elven inspired land with, archers, mages, dragons, a few humans, one demon and of course, Fae.
Upon arriving at Sylvamir, this Fae was welcomed quickly and with open arms. The inhibants of this land wanted to know greatly as to where this Fae had come. Hesitant at first but not Willing to deceive, it was told to them that the land of which this Fae called home, was that of Valsharen. Questions were asked and eyebrows were raised upon hearing more detail of Valsharen were given to them as answers. Purposely this Fae spoke with careful words, in luring them to accept a 'lost' and forgotten Fae. Not lying while doing this, of course, but taking advantage of their naivety only to be accepted among them, which was done with great ease! And with this ease, more information could be gained and the scouting done by this Fae not in vain. For much is to be reported back to the Dear Drows!

As time went on, the other Fae began to realise that this Fae was not of their kind. Nor are they of the kind of this Fae, for they are not True Fae.
Shortly afterwards, the Fae encountered a Black Dragon. He was taken by this Fae, for this he revealed as much. And this Fae spoke with him more than the others of Sylvamir. The other Fae were soon quickly becoming jealous and wanted to impress him as much as this Fae had done, but he saw through their petty attempts and realised that only the only Fae that showed ultimate Truth, was this Fae! The Black Dragon made it a point to introduce his brother, a Red Dragon, two nights later. The Red Dragon seemed to be stronger in stature compared to his brother, though his words were just as kind as his brother's. When together, our words flowed through witty tones and intelligent banter. It is to be remembered that the undertones of one particular brother was more with current than the other... which is a detail that this Fae shall keep private... it is to be better enjoyed in such a way.
During our talks, this Fae spoke of Valsharen and explained to them that the Call of Valsharen shall be made to her. They were quick to comment as to why and yet more explanations were given. The Black Dragon had offered to slay the one that attempted at the retrieval of this Fae; however, it was made clear to him that it was a duty to answer the Call of Valsharen. He was impressed by the loyalty of this Fae. Which in turn, this Fae was impressed at his Honourable
offer of aid without knowing fully of whom he offered to slay!

And so, that is where this Fae still remains in Sylvamir. The landscape is breath-taking in places of where water flows between foothills. A tall statue of a warrior kneels atop of a small hill beside the tavern, this is where this Fae has taken to seat many an eve. They do have a Fae glen, but it is not comparable to the wild surface of Valsharen, of which this Fae prefers!

Upon the hearing the Call of Valsharen, this Fae shall wait here.
