A Light Wanes.

Last eve exploratory travel lead to an encounter which made me ponder a couple of things. These things included various thoughts upon how mortals actually think. It is widely known that they do think; however, upon personal experiences with mortals, this Fae does believe that perhaps they do not think at all.

During my fayhood, it was taught to me never to judge based on race or creed. However, the more mortals that are encountered, then it is difficult to be tolerant of their ways. This Fae has never had any physical reason to fear any one, be it mortal, immortal, or other being. But as Time delivers, this Fae can begin to admit that a slow paced fear is starting to form deep within the very beat of the heart of this Fae. A creeping fear that their incompentence and
tyrannous reach will stretch far beyond what they hold now.

Elusive this Fae must become again.
The Light wanes.

Only the brightest light can cast the deepest shadow Doyenne.
Hardly what you'd expect from your average rivvil .. a bright light, that is.

Unless ofcourse, it is not the human shadow you fear.

Human shadows create fear just by purely existing, for they know what not they do and this wherein lies the problem.

Fear.

False
Evidence
Appearing
Real.

And this is what this Fae fears.

Lies that sound like truth and truth that sounds like a lie.

The best lies there are, are those which actually speak the truth.
Or those that are partially true.

False evidence appearing real .. well ..

Nothing stops the Doyenne from attempting to manage another's perception just the same. Show what you want to show and let know what you want them to know.
Wich is far from lying.
Because of what one knows not .. of that one is silent.

Silence...
We look at it, and see it not; though it is Omnipresent; and we name it the root-balance. We listen for it, and hear it not, though it is Omniscient; and we name it Silence. We feel for it, and touch it not, though it is Omnipotent; and we name it the Concealed. The three Virtues
have it, yet we cannot describe it as consisting of Virtue at all.

Above, it shineth not; below, it is not dark. It moveth all
continuously, without Expression, returning into Naught. It is the form of that which is beyond form; it is the image of the Invisible; it is Change and without limit.

For one to hold this Silence is to hold immeasurable insight to the ones that strive to know what lies within this Silence.

Nothing is foolproof, for foolishness is so ingenious. Never underestimate the power of incompetence.

To the eyes of a Higher Power, mankind must appear as a species of bacteria which multiply and become progressively virulent whenever they find themselves in a congenial culture, and whose activity diminishes until they disappear completely as soon as proper measures are taken to sterilize them.
And that sterilization takes form of enlightenment, which leaves room to be able to see, much clearer, 'The Beyond.'
